I loved The Breakfast Club too. I saw it 7 times in the theaters, when it first came out.

While we're talking movies, I wanted to share something.

My local librarian asked me to come up with some party games and such for our library's upcoming New Moon movie release party. I posted my party planner in my wordpress blog, and all librarians are free to download it.

I realize it's rude to post my URL on your blog, so I'll just say that you can probably get to my blog by clicking on my name (if you're interested in having your own copy of my New Moon Party Planner). If that doesn't work, try to google me; my blog's called Passing Love Notes.

Hi Christine

I was wondering if it was possible to have a copy of your article on libraries and recession? I'm currently president of SCl - enjoyed your presentation and love your word cloud. I'm at the conservative party conference on Wed talking about libraries and recession and your article would really help me.

Thanks

I haven't read it, but now I'm going to look for it at my local public library.

I wanted to let you know about an exciting opportunity I had being interviewed for a Voice of America story on the Nancy Drew books. The transcript and the stream are available on the VOA website at http://www.voanews.com/specialenglish/2009-08-23-voa2.cfm

Have you read any of the Nancy Drew books?

Congratulations on your opportunity to speak at the IFLA pre-conference! Concerning web 2.0 and libraries, there is an interesting article in the September - October 2009 issue of "Online" titled "A SWOT Analysis for Social Media in Libraries" by Joe Fernandez.

I enjoyed your Hello Kitty comment on my blog. Thanks.

Hurrah for Google Alerts! :) I'm happy you like my blog! I just had a look at yours and was v impressed by the number of books you've already read in 2009! I keep meaning to read more fiction but always end up reading journal articles instead :-/ I am, however, reading a great little book at the moment called I'm Not Scared by Niccolo Ammanii - ever read it? It's my summer holiday read :)
